2 Margarita glasses
Materials
4CupsCubed Watermelon
¾CSugar
4Basil Leaves
4SlicesJalapeño
4ozJalapeño Lime JuiceTrader Joe’s
4ozTequila Blanco
Soda Water
Instructions
In a glass bowl, top cubed watermelon with sugar, basil, jalapeño and mix well. Allow to sit for at least two hours, mixing occasionally.
Place the mixture into a blender and mix well. Strain into a separate container.
In a cocktail mixer, add 8 oz of the watermelon mixture, 4 oz jalapeño lime juice, 4 oz tequila and ice. Shake well and strain over ice.
Top with soda water and lime.
Save the reserved watermelon juice for later.

Notes
For a less sweet version, reduce the amount of sugar used.
