NAPLES, FL (JULY 14) – Adria D. Starkey has been accepted into the prestigious International Women’s Forum (IWF), an invitation only organization for female leaders around the world. Starkey, President of FineMark National Bank & Trust, Collier County, is one of only a handful of women from Southwest Florida involved in this organization. The IWF, which was founded in 1974 in New York City, has grown to 6,500 women leaders in 33 countries and 74 forums worldwide.
The IWF brings together global membership to exchange ideas, to learn, inspire, and to build better leadership throughout the world. This vision is realized through conferences, training and mentoring programs.
Starkey brings a wealth of professional and philanthropic experience to the group. She has been working in financial services for the past 30 years, holding executive positions at major banking institutions during that time. Starkey has a degree in finance from the University of Florida and has done postgraduate work at Florida International University, University of Miami, and the University of North Carolina. She was appointed by the Governor to The Florida Prepaid College Board and serves on the boards of The HealthCare Network Foundation, Gulfshore Playhouse and Friends of Baker Park.
